I am so happy to hear that you discovered Phil from the documentary Phil Ochs: There but for Fortune, it goes to show that new people are discovering him on a daily basis and that he’s not totally doomed to obscurity as I sometimes fear. And it also shows the fact that the documentary does help create and spread awareness of him. I can totally understand how you can become fascinated with him as a result of finding out about him, that’s what happened to me when I finally ended up fully discovering him years ago, and since then I’ve been also fascinated by Ochs as well.
